It was another year of successful trialing for Ethel.  To her growing list of achievements, which include the 2000 OBCC Pro-Novice Championship and the 2003 OBCC Open Championship, she can add the 2004 Canadian Border Collie Association National Championship and the 2004 OBCC Open Reserve Championship.  

Ethel is out of Amanda Milliken’s Grace, the 2002 OBCC Open Champion by 1995 International Champion Craig.  She is a strong worker with a plain upright style that sheep respond to without overreaction.  Her outruns are performed with the determination and conviction that has become a trade mark of Amanda’s line of breeding.  In the shedding ring she shines, exhibiting patience and control, coming through with vigor when the moment is right.  As Amanda says, ”she loves to pry sheep apart”.

We look forward to seeing Ethel run in 2005 and naturally we expect a good showing. I am confident that we won’t be disappointed.
